Green Bean Soup

Low in carbs high in nutrients and quick to prepare. Add some spices and a thought of sour cream to make a lovely soup to please anyone.

As I lately have some time, I was searching on the web last week. Trying to find fresh, intriguing tips, inspiring recipes that I have never tested before, to astonish my loved ones with. Searching for a long time unfortunately could not come across lots of interesting stuff. Just before I wanted to give up on it, I discovered this delicious and easy treat by chance. The dessert looked so mouth-watering on its pic, it called for quick actions.

It had been not difficult to imagine just how it is created, its taste and how much boyfriend will like it. Mind you, it is very simple to delight the guy in terms of desserts. Yes, I’m a lucky one. Or maybe he is.Anyhow, I visited the page: Suncakemom and then followed the step by step instuctions that were accompanied by superb snap shots of the process. It just makes life rather easy. I could imagine that it’s a bit of a inconvenience to shoot photos in the middle of baking in the kitchen as you may ordinarily have gross hands so I highly appreciate the hard work she put in to make this post .

With that in mind I’m inspired to present my own, personal recipe in the same way. Many thanks the idea.

I was fine tuning the initial recipe create it for the taste of my loved ones. I’ve got to mention that it was a great success. They enjoyed the taste, the structure and loved having a treat such as this in the midst of a busy week. They basically asked for more, many more. Hence next time I’m not going to make the same miscalculation. I am going to twin the volume .

This was made possible through SunCakeMom who provided the original Ham And Green Bean Soup.

Pour oil into a pot and add the diced onion, carrot and celery.

Add salt and saute until the onion gets a glassy / translucent look.

Throw the bay leaf and the crushed garlic in then saute until fragrant.

Mix in the sliced or diced smoked meat as well.

Pour in the green beans then add the water.

Spoon in the paprika and any other optional vegetables like carrots.

Bring it to boil and simmer it for 10 minutes or until the vegetables get the desired texture.

Mix in the sour cream and let it settle for a couple of minutes before serving.

Enjoy!
